Job Title: Vice President (“VP”), Financial Planning & Analysis

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key member of the Finance leadership team, responsible for driving the planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic insight that enable TFP’s Senior Leadership Team, Business and Clinic partners to make informed business decisions. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and functional leaders across the organization to provide financial leadership, improve business performance, and align resource allocation with strategic priorities.

This role requires a balance of rigorous analytics, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills. The VP, FP&A will lead the company’s annual budget process, latest estimates, rolling forecasts, long-range plans, and business performance reviews. This position also manages financial reporting, dashboarding, and the continued evolution of TFP’s financial systems and planning tools.

Duties/Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the enterprise-wide annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, in close coordination with the CFO and department leaders.

  • Oversee rolling forecasts and scenario planning, ensuring proactive and timely insights into business trends and financial risks/opportunities.

Business Performance & Analysis

  • Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership and the Board, focused on KPIs, variances, and actionable insights.

  • Partner with clinic operators and corporate function leaders to evaluate financial performance, support cost discipline, and drive margin improvement initiatives.

  • Identify and communicate key business drivers, trends, and risks in real time, and develop strategies to optimize performance.

Strategic Finance & Decision Support

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to functional and operational leaders across the business.

  • Support business case development, capital allocation decisions, pricing and service line analyses, and strategic projects.

  • Drive initiatives to improve data quality, performance visibility, and financial literacy across the organization.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence, business partnering and collaboration, and accountability.

  • Ensure effective workflows, mentorship, and development opportunities within the team.

  • Champion process improvements and automation to increase forecasting accuracy and reduce manual work.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline required; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A including 3-5 years of leadership experience

  • Experience working with Private Equity owners preferred.

  • Prior experience in healthcare, multi-unit operations, or private equity-backed environments is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Planful, Adaptive Insights, Power BI, or similar planning tools) is a plus.
