Maven Clinic expands global reach with international fertility clinic partnerships

NEW YORK, NY Maven Clinic, the largest virtual clinic for women’s and family health, today announced a partnership with The Fertility Partners, the largest provider of fertility services in Canada. The Fertility Partners marks the latest partnership in Maven’s fertility clinic referral network, which supports Maven’s members in more than 70 countries with finding high-quality fertility care.

Over the past year, Maven has scaled its international offering as an increasing number of multinational companies seek parity in their global benefits: 60% of Maven’s global clients offer Maven to international employees and halfway through 2021, the company saw nearly 4x the number of international users enrolled than in all of 2020. Maven has also made significant investments in its award-winning fertility program over the past year, including launching MavenRx in February 2020 to help fertility members more seamlessly get their medications.

“Fertility benefits have become a must-have for employers, not only in the United States but globally,” said Chris Hicks, senior vice president of strategy and operations at Maven Clinic. “Maven is expanding our international fertility clinic partnerships to meet the demands of global employers and the employees who are navigating one of the most exciting and challenging moments in life—starting a family. With the help of like-minded providers such as The Fertility Partners, we are modernizing the fertility journey—combining the best of technology with quality in-person care to support the 1 in 8 couples struggling with infertility.”

As the largest provider of fertility services in Canada, The Fertility Partners operates 9 full-service clinics and over 20 locations across six provinces. With this addition, Maven’s clinic referral network now extends across countries in Europe, Asia, North and South America, with further expansion expected in the coming months. Maven’s virtual care platform has served women and families in over 175 countries and all members seeking fertility services, regardless of country, receive a customized referral list based on their location, personal preferences, and available data on clinic performance. Maven’s clinic referral network adds an additional layer of support for members in the 70 countries covered, with further expansion expected in the coming months.

“As Maven continues its international expansion, we’re thrilled to be able to support its members in Canada with realizing their family-building dreams,” said Dr. Andrew Meikle, Founder, CEO and Executive Chairman of The Fertility Partners. “The Fertility Partners and Maven share a commitment to innovation and to high-quality patient experiences, and we look forward to delivering on these commitments together to ultimately achieve excellent outcomes for families everywhere.”

Maven’s clinically-managed fertility program guides members through the entire fertility journey, from choosing a fertility clinic and evaluating treatment options, to 24/7 support from reproductive endocrinologists and mental health providers, and access to a community of members on similar journeys. Roughly half of Maven fertility members enroll in Maven without a fertility clinic, and the process of finding a clinic can be complex. Maven helps make the clinic evaluation and selection process more seamless and efficient for members, and takes a personalized approach to support each member no matter their pathway to parenthood or geographic location.
