Steve can be described as a product of IVF. Although not an IVF baby, he grew up observing his father, TFP's Chief Medical Officer, emerge as a globally-recognized pioneer in the field. From an early age, Steve had the opportunity to witness how IVF positively transformed lives and built families. The chance to collaborate with two passionate, patient-focused leaders like Andrew and Al was eagerly embraced. 

Before joining TFP, Steve accumulated over 25 years of experience as a senior executive in both public and private corporations. His expertise spanned mergers and acquisitions, financings, restructurings, financial and internal reporting, strategic development and business planning, corporate governance, investor relations, regulatory compliance, and treasury management. 

For more than 20 years, Steve has been actively involved in the boards of youth-at-risk focused charities, continuing his service with Save the Children Canada. Additionally, he holds a position on the board of directors of a public company. 

Throughout his career, Steve completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) from Queen's University, obtaining the Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng.). He further pursued a Masters in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario. Holding the CFA® charter and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, Steve has fortified his professional qualifications.
